 Cremation,
as a method of disposition, is a time-honored and dignified funeral
rite that's been practiced for centuries. It was a traditional
part of elegant rites performed in ancient Rome and Greece, Native
American nations, Thailand, and India, as well as a form of tribute
used to honor leaders, including high lamas of Tibet and Viking
kings, who were cremated on ships set aflame at sea. Centuries
ago the cremation ash, or cremains, was left at the site of the
cremation and essentially returned to the earth. Today, cremains
are returned to the immediate family of the deceased.
We will work with you to help you decide on the appropriate memorial.
If you have personal items that you would like included with the
ashes in the memorial, we can show you the various ways that we
can include it based on the memorial that you choose. Whether
it's one of our standard items or a special order, we will be
here to assist you every step of the way. We have provided a wide
range of standard items at prices that can fit within everyone's
budget.
With the wide variety of items that we offer, it may be possible
for you to have several memorials made so that many of the family
members can each have their own memory of their loved one. All
of the memorials can be personalized with inscriptions or through
etching.
We can also make arrangements for the dispersal of the cremains
after using some of them to make the memoriam (s). In this way,
your family may have a portion of the deceased to have with them
always and are able to return the remainder to the earth in a
way that best symbolizes the deceased or is in accord with their
wishes.
